A year and a half ago my car failed its emissions test and I had only 2 days get it fixed so I could renew my tags. I found Ken’s Auto Service through the Air Care Colorado website’s list of repair facilities. Customer reviews were high and they had a high number of repairs and a very high success rate on retesting. Long story short, I called Ken’s, they were sympathetic to my tight time line, they did the remedial work and got the car retested (a very convenient & reassuring service), the car passed. I paid a lot of money - but I got done what needed to be done on a very tight time line - and I was happy. Flash forward 1500 miles. My car was noisy and you could smell exhaust inside the car. I had it looked at by my regular repair shop and they said I should have the exhaust/catalytic converter work done by Ken’s reexamined. I took it back to Ken’s and was happy to be told by Ryan - service manager - that there is a 3-year warranty on parts and labor. I was given a loaner and by the next day I had my car back repaired to my satisfaction. I know it cost them a fair amount of time and money but my cost was $0.00. While I wish the initial work had been done better (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars), especially at the cost, I was impressed at how Ken’s Auto Service owned the problem and made it right. So, if you are looking to build a long term relationship with a car repair shop consider Ken’s Auto Service.
