I took my van in for an oil change and they checked out a few things for free and informed me of a leak in my newly replaced transmission as well as said my tire rods are bad even though those were supposedly replaced in Dec 2013 by a dealership. They also told me of fluids that are dirty and need to be replaced and although this may sound standard,. the Jiffy Lube I have been going too says they check fluids but apparently NOT! I am so thankful Kens Auto really does check out everything because now my warranty on previous work is being used to make repairs I would not have been aware of and by the time if any that Jiffy would of noticed my warranty may have been up. Thank you for being an honest place I trust.... Kens Auto!!!!!! Tina Lott your new faithful customer :)

I went in for a simple headlight issue. They fixed it quickly and I felt the labor and part costs were fair based on my research. The customer service was great, and they have a military discount. I will certainly be back in the future if I need more car help.

My vehicle is an investment. I took my truck in right after I bought it. They gave me a complete diagnostic test. What is important and what could wait. The estimates were exactly what I paid. A competitive price, quality parts and the service was excellent. I was taken home and picked up and even received a progress call to discuss the work being done. That's simple but satisfying. I trust Ken's Auto Service to keep me on the road.

Absolutely thrilled with Ken's. Friendly, efficient, honest people. Fantastic value on parts and labor. I went in telling them all of the things I needed done based on what I'd been told by Big O tires when I had my snow tires mounted. Rather than taking advantage of the situation, they told me most of the suggested repairs were not needed, saving me over $900. I'll never go anywhere else. So happy to have found a mechanic I can trust.

Right before the holidays we had to replace the transmission on our Ford Explorer, not good news financially. Looked online for a repair shop near my home and came across Ken's Auto Service, this search took us to a company who have amazing customer service and compassion on the people they serve. Feeling overwhelmed with the large amount of money that was needed to fix the transmission and thinking about spending extra money on a rental car for the time it would take to get or Explorer back, was tough. When I brought the Explorer in to Ken's Auto, they offered me car to use while the explorer was being fix, and the only thing they asked for the loan of the car, was for me to replace the gas that I used. It brought tears to my eyes that they offered this, which saved me money. Then when we walked in to pay and pick up the explorer, they asked if my husband was military. We said yes (showed ID) and then they gave us a military discount. Wow..what company expecially auto repair, does this? They are amazing because they helped me in my time of need! To top it off at Christmas, they sent me a Christmas card. AMAZING!!! This is the place I would send little old ladies, single moms, and people who just need to be treated right and not taken advantage of. Thank you Ken's Auto Service for everything!

I can't recommend these guys enough! So nice to find an honest, quality shop in the neighborhood. They have been taking care of both my cars for two years now. Whether routine maintenance or a desperate quick fix they always help at a fair price! They even helped me put on a ski rack I broke last year!

I knew from a previous mechanic that I needed a headlight harness and bulb replaced on my vehicle. With mechanic friends in PA and the help of the internet, I found that this is typically a 30 minute job. I checked out the cost of parts online as well: $8 bulb, $14 harness. Without the appropriate tools to do the job myself, I decided to take my vehicle to Ken's after reading the excellent reviews. I estimated at maximum a $100 quote (70 for labor, 30 for parts). Ken's quoted the job at $176!! To fix a headlight!? That's $97 for an hour of labor, $62 for parts and taxes. It would be one thing to charge me for more labor time than necessary, I can handle that and half expected it. But to triple the cost of parts as well?! I asked if I could buy them myself and was told no, "we have to make a profit". Needless to say, I spent $25 at O'Reilly's for the parts and went down the road to Accurate Transmission, where they quoted me $50-$70 for a 30-45 minute job. If you don't like being taken advantage of, save $100 and take your vehicle to Accurate Transmission where you will get an honest deal.

The good news is they check your car and find out what's wrong with it-but despite their ratings on Google and the Better Business Bureau, there may be some truth to some of those bad reviews. Shortly after I took my car to their shop, my car starting having more problems than ever. Or so I thought. My car started making a loud, thumping terrible noise and when I took the hubcap off, I discovered the lug nuts were not screwed back on all the way!! To make matters worse, the ball joint which was not loose before now was and I almost had a fatal accident when it gave and caused the entire axle to come off. I don't know if that was done purposefully so that I would be frightened into coming back for repairs, but the fact that the lug nuts were not even screwed back on to the tires blatantly tells me a lot. Not only will I be submitting this review, I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That wasn't right at all and I will make sure people know about what this place did.
