Once upon a time, in the land of eternal winter and construction (Milwaukee), I had a great mechanic (Anthony at The Quiet Zone on Layton). Over the past 3 years, I've been trying to find an equivalent in Denver. I've bounced around to a few places, but I believe I can finally say "I've got a guy for that". I took my 2004 Jeep Liberty in to Ken's Auto Service. About every 3 years, this thing needs something ridiculous. Like clockwork, November of 2016 gifted me the need for s...

Ken's people are great - and they keep all four of my family's cars on the road. Including the 1995 Dodge Caravan.

I say they are pretty honest. Went there for some tire work and didn't upsell like dealerships. Just fixed whatever the car needed.

I really love Ken's and will continue to bring my car there for as long as I'm located in this area. They were upfront about all costs associated with my car, and Ryan called me every step of the way to get costs and work approved. There were several issues with my car, including that my serpentine belt needed replaced, and the water pump was also bad. I had approved them for the cost of the serpentine belt, and Ryan called me and informed me about the water pumped. When I said I couldn't afford the cost of the water pump, he told me he recommended waiting for the serpentine belt until it all was done so I could save money. What mechanic in my life has done that?! None besides Ken's. They also have the cheapest tires in the are. For 4 new tires with a 65k warranty I paid 390, which is comparable to the lowest in the area. My car is running wonderfully and I can't thank them enough. Trish is also lovely, and she is smart. She explained everything to me in an educational manner. Thanks so much, I look forward to dealing with you again.

This place is fantastic fast friendly service at a reasonable price. What's more is they will take you home and pick you up again when the car is ready. It's hard to find a reliable mechanic in this crazy world, but this is the place!

The people at Ken's are amazing from Brittany who picks you up to Ryan and all the mechanics. If your car needs a lot of work, they have loaner cars!! That was a life saver for me. They put a lot of effort into taking care of you and your vehicle. I can't say enough good things about them. I'm so glad I found them here on Yelp. The pricing is fair and they are very honest about what really needs to be done and will prioritize in what order things need to be taken care of. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me and my car. Don't hesitate to take your car to Ken's!!!

To all those who are not as strong as a Marine. Beware !! These guys use strong arm tacktics to sell you work you can't afford or don't want to do. I went there with a radiator leak. They called with a $4,000 estimate to fix everything including my windshield wipers. When I refused to do any work other than what I came in for, the front office manager Ryan Hutt got huffy, then told me he would not fix my $400 radiator problem. So they refused to fix my truck. Once you pay the thousand dollars they are asking for, you might get a good job after the use car salesman does his thing. He stayed on the phone with me for 25 minutes badgering me to get extra work done. My truck is 14 years old. 2002.

We do not employ strong arm tactics, we do inform customer of all the items we see that may need attention now or in the future so that customer may make an informed buying decision. The repairs can be done in steps or sometimes it may not make sense to repair a vehicle if the total cost of repairs would out weigh the value of the vehicle. Secondly we will not perform an improper repair, even at the customer's request.

I took my car in for a timing belt and was told it would probably cost 150. two days later the owner called and insisted it would be $2000. this place is a sham. never go to this place !

Hi Alice, this is Tina the owner. We do not quote prices over the phone. I require ALL vehicles to be tested by a Master Technician which is $115.73. We discovered your vehicle had been previously worked on and poorly reassembled, the cooling fan was cracked, shroud broken, coolant leaking from the timing cover. The vehicle would require substantial repairs to be safe & reliable which is why you were given an option to repair the vehicle properly. I have been in business 14 years now and if anyone here was a sham I would FIRE them immediately. I pride myself on hiring highly skilled, honest, trustworthy people that never put money in front of people.
