I have an old truck. A 1999 Chevy Tahoe 2 door. She isn’t pretty but we have been in many adventures together. I grew sick and tired of mechanics telling me it isn’t worth repairing her. I took her to Ken’s and explained that she’s important to me. They went through her with a fine toothed comb. They came up with an extensive list of repairs. They recommended we focus on the critical ones for safety and operation and planned to address the less critical issues over time. They replaced crappy Chinese parts another mechanic had installed that had failed and use SAE parts. Now my baby is running as my daily driver. Well done Ken’s.

I've been going to Ken's since 2011, and they have consistently treated me well. I compare them to doctors, and cars are their patients. They provide honest answers to your car questions, even if the answer is not what you'd want to hear. If you become a regular, they treat you as family, calling you by name and start conversations with you. While there are many auto shops that provide car maintenance service, I recommend this shop specifically for the service and welcoming staff.

I've tried a lot of different car repair shops, and Ken's is one of the most honest and reliable. The prices are fair and they offer personal touches, like free drop off and pick up. I recommend this family owned business.

I believe five stars should be used whenever all your expectations of a service-provider are met, both in general and with respect to the specific need that led you to pay for the service. That was the case here. I needed a pre-purchase inspection done on a vehicle and called them very near to my return date deadline. They got me in quickly and gave me a no-nonsense explanation of the risk I would be taking on for maintenance and repair if I were to keep it. I was able to make a more educated decision about my purchase (and subsequent return) than I ever could have without their service. I recommend without reservation.

I have taken 2 vehicles to this location--I have not been disappointed...they present as professional and approachable. One of the really nice things--if there is a problem, they do not just "do the work"...they call and give you all the information you need to make an informed choice. From simple to the "Oh moment" when you realize there is not much you can do to save your car...unfortunate though they did not charge me for additional work which would not have helped the car anyway.
